Summary

As a Business Development Officer for our digital marketing team at Pow Social you will be required to identify sales leads, pitch goods or services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts. This role revolves around good communication with staff and clients. You’ll help to bring the pieces of very important relationships together. Our team members are required to have an assertive spirit to learn and develop their skills and easily adapt to any situation, be a go-getter who thrives on taking initiative and pleasing our clients.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings
  • Planning and preparing marketing proposals and presentations
  • Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
  • Overseeing the development of marketing literature
  • Writing reports
  • Providing management with feedback
  • Building and maintaining valuable relationships

Qualifications and Skills

This is no job for shy, reserved types as you’ll need to be bursting with self-confidence, love networking and enjoy presenting and public speaking. You will also need the following:

  • Advanced writing and speaking skills
  • Deep understanding of business and marketing principles
  • Knowledge of digital marketing to create amazing proposals and speak confidently to prospective clients about our services
  • Negotiation skills to present clear ideas and close new clients
  • 4+ years involved with Digital Marketing and/or Business/Media/Marketing Degree preferred
  • Digital marketing skills would be an asset.
